In 2013 we established the Iota Phi Theta, Delta Beta Chapter Monument Scholarship Fund in the foundation.  This is a requirement of the university to be allowed to construct a monument on campus.  We are required to have a minimum of $50,000 in our account in order to start building the monument.  Our goal is to have the groundbreaking during homecoming as part of our 25th anniversary.  We are asking each brother to commit $1000 each to making this a reality.  

Ways to make this happen

• Fundraiser – If anyone has any ideas about a fundraiser please present it to the brotherhood.
• Corporate Match – If your job has a program to match donations to non profits, this is a way for you to potentially double your donation.
• Solicit donations – Ask friends and family to donate to the chapters scholarship on your behalf.  We are providing scholarships to deserving students

At a minimum, the monument will have the names of the charter members and every line that has come through the chapter.  Although all donations are needed to make this a reality,  individual names will be added for brothers who contribute at the following giving levels.  This is an opportunity to have your name and legacy enshrined for all to see.
